2.0 GTE Battery

Hi All

Whats the best make and type of battery for a GTE, and do any of you use a battery conditioner for longer periods when not in use?

Battery type 065 is recommended for a Manta 2.0 litre. Although i have seen 075 type fitted. The 075 has a higher ampere hour rating.

If a battery is not used for long periods then any battery will deteriorate even an expensive one.

Got a 075 fitted to my GTE. 

Fits fine but as mentioned has higher cca

They should park up and be useable within 3 weeks easily if no problems but an alarm fitted can drain battery over a shorter period.any longer either disconnect battery or remove fuse 3

The battery chap told me when I got a new one back end of last year to top up charge every 6 weeks or so if not in use.

MIne is stored over winter so at the end of the month I will park & up & remove the battery, and top up every 6 weeks or so.
