Paul Barrett
Right folks been told my storage space is going as farmer wants to build expensive storage unit on it so this has to go before I’ve had a chance to get it MOT ready. Really good solid car that belonged to a former omoc member for many years. He carried out the XE conversion some years ago. Has a nice exhaust system on it interior is very good I got in runni today. Very tappy because it’s been sat but sounds good (have video) chassi is excellent for one of these. Needs a replacement nose cone as had a little bump. Mans various little bits of welding to get it more presentable. Will come with a set of alloys I can trailer it for a potential buyer for an agreed fee per mile. Would prefer pickup ideally but I’ve left it on the trailer just in case Located in Northampton so fairly central for most I’m after £2500 Pics

A 1976 Manta Coupe (in pretty good condition) came up for sale yesterday on the Manta Facebook group for £3500, it was sold within a few hours. Its a shame but its a sign of the times. Very true! The problem is trying to find something that was posted only a few days ago. Well worth creating a Facebook identity if only for browsing purposes. Anyway, here's 2 Manta's that are currently on the Marketplace for sale.

That would be me lol. I was skimming through facebook and just by chance noticed the post about that coupe. I've always had a soft spot for early ones and especially in orange so I gave the owner a shout and sorted out a deal, picking it up on thursday. I know what you mean though, you've got to be quick, even with a facebook account. Facebook has taken so much away from the forums. Anyway, this is my first visit back to the OMOC for a few years and its great to see it's very much still alive and kicking.

I've just bought this, (less than half of the advertised price as the owner had been messed around a few times) it's pretty much as described, bit rough but thats to be expected for the price. Put some fresh fuel in , booster pack on & at it fired up no bother, looking at turning it into more of an every day useable classic with a nice coat of paint, rather than a full nuts & bolts restoration. Hopefully within a few months.................. cheers

Sutty2006
You’d have to make a new topic for me to move it to. 👍
