Monaco Blue Posted May 26, 2019 Author Share Posted May 26, 2019 Unfortunately, quite a few advisories on the latest MOT: Fuel Pipe/s corroded main feed from fuel tank Oil leak, but not excessive engine ) Oil leak, but not excessive gearbox ) Brake pipe corroded, covered in grease or other material ALL various pipes front to rear ) Various rubber bushes are deteriorated, gearbox mountings and various suspension components Brake master cylinder is corroded Vehicle underside has multiple patches of surface corrosion throughout and it failed on these initially: Nearside Rear Suspension component mounting prescribed area excessively corroded significantly reducing structural strength hole/s in inner sill within 30cm of rear axle sway arm mounting. highlighted / marked with chalk ) Offside Front Suspension component mounting prescribed area excessively corroded significantly reducing structural strength hole in vehicle bulkhead within 30cm of shock-absorber mounting, hole highlighted / marked with chalk ) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
