Em not in my eyes! 35 year old alloy ticking time bomb! Famous saying! That blurb is funny, i can read between the lines, but............it is what it is, if you want one, yeh its gotta be the only one, just wouldnt interest me! Main reason, 140bhp, if that. Very nice car though, not that desireable.... A silver or baby blue manta b, 2.2 on twin 45s, green glass, lowered, ronal turbo alloys, 240 axle, lsd, 275bhp redtop caged manta Mint, red exclusive, like the one in irmscher museum! ®evo03
More desireable in plastic, built this yrs ago and forgot about it, l8ng before the silver ones where available, complete with original reg, its not even an age related reg, or nice reading either Forgot about this, so had to go fetch it, and take a pic! Wonder why car was reregistered with uk plate? This model is now for sale! 1% off final sale price at auction, or should that be 10%. ®evo03
I wouldnt have the backing to spend thousands, trying, trying, trying to find engine bits to fix it, and after all that, less power than a standard redtop. But i do know what you mean, I know this car, and have known of it for twenty years, i also know of bigger better more desireable mantas! Mickfrad
A write up from another site https://viaretro.com/2019/06/prime-find-of-the-week-the-last-rear-wheel-drive-rally-hero/ Edited June 3, 2019 by Mickfrad
starmist
Does anybody know if there's a reserve on this? So tempted to sell a car for it if it doesn't go up too much.
®evo03
Love these modern day write ups, half of it is about a group b car, the other half is read between the lines nonsense that is suppose to draw the viewer in, quote: it's a bit like reading a car magazine, what's that song, half the lies you tell ain't true.......never believe everything you read it's the wording they use, pathetic,........it's airy fairy, like selling floweral curtains or something..... I mean your not gonna buy this car if you know nothing, or nothing about it, or are you? I would say 60k 70k, nah, I would have a few 400r's for that! starmist
You have obviously got too love Manta's or maybe just group B in order to justify this amount of money. I don't think investors will be interested now as that boat has sailed. For me this is still the ultimate Manta though.
Monaco Blue
Auction now closed and it reached £50K. Much the same as last time. No idea whether it sold or not however.
