Liz Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 (edited) The day has arrived when I sadly have to put my Manta GT 1.8s '85 up for sale! This was my first car, which I was very attached to. I have had it for 25 years now, however, it has been off the road for the last 22 years, and stored in a barn in Worcestershire. Ideally I would have liked to have been able to have had it restored over the years, but that has not been possible for me. Also, unfortunately, the storage is no longer available to me, and that is the reason for the sale. I have uploaded some photos, along with information of a report that was done on its current condition. I have a V5C registration certificate. The number of former keepers is 4. The mileage is 78,633. Exterior colour is black, interior is grey. This is a 3 door hatchback, without sunroof, petrol car. Open to any offers, and as a guide price £950.00 o.n.o (101749) (101431) Edited October 14, 2019 by Liz Quote
Jessopia74 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 GL with the sale Liz, worth mentioning it looks like there is no sunroof , so that’s another positive. 👍 1 Quote

Liz Posted October 15, 2019 Author Posted October 15, 2019 Thanks Jess, Buz, Terry, Rob & Wayne for the lovely comments, and encouragement for the sale. All sounds promising, so fingers crossed. It's really helpful to receive comments from you all, as you are all so clearly very knowledgeable on the Manta. Thanks also Buz for the offer of local help, I'll keep that in mind, much appreciated. Thanks. Liz Quote
®evo03 Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 The fact that not one member is saying, thats ridiculous, too expensive, you will never get that, goes to show, the price is too low, Take youprice and multiply it by 2, take it from there! Its worthmore that 1k in parts alone! But they all love you really! Just not that much! Read between the lines. Quote
1200bandit Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 Am very surprised it’s not been sold yet You can throw £500 on top of the 1,000 and it still will sell 1 Quote
Jessopia74 Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 Well if this is still available when I get back from Cuba, I might deal on it 🤪 so come on Wayne, hurry up mate Quote
Danny D114BCW Posted October 15, 2019 Posted October 15, 2019 It’s a nice car which we were interested in but distance etc don’t make the suns add up. hopefully it will be saved like we were planning to do 1 Quote
