HOW TO CONFIRM THAT MY MANTA IS A GENUINE SR MODEL.

Well, our son is 19 and has got his drivers license since this summer. He drove the "400" several times but he asked me if the GSI (under construction) also handles so difficult. (The gearbox and clutch of the "400" is not that traffic-jam friendly) but I said that car drives like a dream. So he can't wait till I finnish the GSI😁.

And yes he drives me home again🍺...

Its nice to  hear that the younger generation also appreciate  these classic  cars.👍

We need them to be interested  and enthusiastic to keep  these cars going. 😁

Take care and  have a good weekend.

Cheers stuart and  Jack.

100% agree!

My 25 and 23 year old 'kids' and all of their friends absolutely love my Cavalier and actually ask to see it every time they come round!

Its quite heart warming really. :thumbup

It certainly  is  heart whelming.

Just picked my lad up from  his mum's.

First thing he did was get out of the car and go over  to the  manta 😃

He's gonna  clean and polish it tomorrow. He's got it all worked out.

Then it's up to me to buy him a juicy steak  for  his tea👍.

Anyway  its Friday.

So that means  stella time🍺🍺🍺🍺.

Speak to you soon.

CHEERS.

Wow I think you have my Son Stu, sounds exactly like him, right down to the Filet steak (steak always 1st choice if available). Eats better then I do!

If you lads choice of pudding is Choc brownie then it will blow my mind!

But you are right, it is a great choice of gift mate, they do teach them properly to drive and especially on the army base at Beverley it has proper road network they use and get up to 30+ mph.

And your spit on, my lad drives my GLC anytime he gets the chance.

Funny enough my oldest lad at 17, has absolutely no interest in driving.

My 13year old though is torn between Manta and The XJR I also have as a favourite. I believe once he gets to drive the Manta in the spring, he will be smitten 🥰

I will have a look into  the driving  thing for  him as part of his xmas presents.

Is it expensive  and where abouts in the uk is it.

Dont mind travelling. Plus make a weekend  of it. 🍺🍺🍺👍

Take care and  enjoy your  weekend

That is very freak Stu 🤯🤯

Yeah the young driver thing is all over the m62 corridor. One I go to is Leconfield, near Beverley. But they do Wigan and Doncaster. I have no affiliation with them, but I am pretty impressed. Started my lad at 1 hour, but dropped him to 1/2.hrs and will space them out a bit more now he’s got a bit deeper into the learning curve. But your right it is expensive when you can get 5hrs starter if he was 17 fir the same price.

thanks, and have a good weekend too 🍻
