I will make 2 sizes. 15” and 17” so that will allow 15, 16, 17 & 18” options with right barrels. Bought the Cobra seats a few months ago, and been looking for an upholster to take on the task.Sent me swab samples of materials in post before we even agreed anything, and made me a mock up on modelling to get feel for how they will look, so pretty confident about the outcome. I was looking for these used for ages too, passed on a couple of pairs as they was just too far to collect & as it happened these was literally a couple of miles drive in the end, like always if you are in no rush, they do come up for sale; albeit with a bit if luck. Should provide a bit if inspiration along with wheels, to get it on the road for spring, even with a compromise on the engine for now. He’s in Wirral, obviously not got anything back from him yet but he’s been perfect so far with info/design and knows what he’s talking about when it comes to reccaro seats & more importantly fixing the foams. Took a while to find the ‘right’ guy to do all my interiors, but worth waiting I feel as I would hate to have to look at something that constantly annoyed me. If they are and anyone is looking for a set to do a similar thing i have a set of them i took out of the A series and i will be selling them when i get around to getting them out of the loft! A couple of tweaks needed as the front tyre side wall is too big IMO, bought a 45 when I should have gone for a 40 profiles.
