Haha.....actually, you are not all that far away from my cunning plan! I have a few bits that I want from Danny myself, and I was thinking about doing a bit of a bulk order for anyone in the UK and also for stocking the shelves up a bit in the club shop. I have a family and friends in the Fatherland, and in The Netherlands too so getting an order sorted out shouldn't be all that difficult. I may take a while to arrive but as these are non essential bits of bling, (and it is the start of winter), I cant see that being an issue.

What do you reckon?

I love it when a plan comes together😄...you can count me in on this one for starters😎

Just to jump in on the manta dany topic, yeah I was super disappointed when he said he doesn't ship to UK.

My siser lives in Amsterdam so I had an order delivered to her address, the parts I got were:

Radiator tray - I made one from a piece of steel but the Manta Dany version was only 25 euro so I thought I'd get it added to the order - https://www.mantadany.shop/p/kuehler-luftfuehrung-opel-manta-b

Kck panels - mine are missing in both footwells - makes the interior look a little unfinished - https://www.mantadany.shop/p/a-saeulenverkleidung-fussraumverkleidung-opel-manta-b-ascona-b-gsi-gte

Bundle - tank cover, boot carpet and tool holder. Didn't need the carpet but the bundle price was just a couple of euro more than the tank cover and the tool-box thingy which I really wanted (original version can be had on ebay at 160 euro but the whole repro bundle was slightly less than that) - https://www.mantadany.shop/p/kofferraum-set-3-teilig-teppich-tankabdeckung-und-kofferraumwanne

So, long story made short, all sitting in Amsterdam and my sister will post to me in due course (she's not always as reliable as I'd like although in her defence she says the box is huge. However I just sent her a pair of Uggs and an advent calendar which she got on Monday so fingers crossed).

Not sure what tax I'll pay on top but I wanted the parts so I'm cool with it.

Some sorta club buy seems like a great idea, he does do reasonably priced repro pieces I think 🙂

Gonna jump also on this "Danny" topic. I live the neighbourhood of Antwerp (Belgium) and I always want to help. I got the advantage I speak German and I visit Germany on a regular base there I'm a member of the German "Opel400Club". The only thing that can be a spoiler is as Scottboyd wrote above are the taxes. About a year ago I ordered some gaskets from the UK and I paid more taxes than they were worth...

Well up for that. I’d even help drive the van 🤣

No TAX , just VAT. But in reality, the parts should be zero rated from the local VAT for export . Sadly not many( if any?) of the EU shops are geared for this yet, so it's effectively paid twice 😬

If a VAT Ltd co. Was to import them, it could be a saving as the EU part can be offset. I am happy to look into this if no one else has a company that pays a substantial amount t if VAT and works in the EMEA through other means, so long as the invoice is set to the right Company details an intermediate shipping agent is of no disadvantage , other than the double costs. I will be going to Ireland for a couple of days  sometime after Christmas for business as it happens, however nothing solid yet. I have nothing scheduled for Holland next year sadly.
Also, the 'personal' import value can be much higher than you expect.

Another loophole is Ireland/NI route, just double postage ofc.
