Fuel pressure problem?

Recommended Posts

According to Haynes 42 + - 3psi (3 + - 0.2 bar) I got 30psi or 2 bar and lost half of that after turning off for 3 mins.

Could assume it's the pump but what further tests can I do to confirm were the problem is?.

Hi Hooby, the Haynes manual is about the L-jetronic. That injection has got a feul pressure regulator of 3 bar, but the LE-jetronic is 2,5 bar (36 psi) but both need to be tested with the rubber vacuum line off. So check what injection you'v got, the L has got grey injectors and the LE yellow ones.
