I have the opportunity to acquire a recently rebuilt Lotus 912 twin cam motor mated to a Toyota W58 5 speed box.  Just wondering if anyone has a used 912 in a B and what kind of challenges such a transplant might present.

Many years ago l fitted a 2.3 engine out of a Bedford van ,into a 1976 manta (Preg) the only problem l was the exhaust manifold, so made one

The lotus is essentially the same lump, as that 2.3 slant engine was the original engine Lotus worked from or rather development started from.
