I originally set the Opel Project blog up so i could record what i was doing and also to look back on things i did and after a while i started to realise that people were asking things that i had already done and i could use the blog to help. I then started to record some of the places i got parts from and even added sections from the workshop manual and parts codes. Some of it helps me to look back and find things and hopefully some people find it useful.

It was only ever a little personal project but as i do web design i setup all the usual analytics etc.. so its great to see some of the google stats that they send through!

Now the car is as close to finished as its going to get i dont expect i will be posting as much as i usually do but i will try and add any adventures in the car to the blog just so i have it recorded and any other interesting things.

Its now time to move onto my next long term project the LI150 project, the restoration of my 1969 Lambretta, so i will be searching through the loft and selling off any Opel parts that i have left over (obviously i will be keeping a lot of spares for mine so when they time does come to sell it i will have a good stash to go with it!)

I wont be listing any parts on here, as i have the blog i might as well setup an online shop and in a few days will be adding the parts to the site where you can purchase them just like any other eCommerce site! postage will be calculated just like a normal online shop as well. It just needs a little testing and some proper products adding and then i can switch it live, hopefully by the end of next week!

I will pop a little update on here when its all live!

Don’t be a stranger Andy! Great work with your car, your writeups on here and your blog are also great sources of information and inspiration for those of us yet to start our projects!

Hi Fin

Don't worry i will just bore you with pics of the car out and about!! I do have a brake upgrade planned but need to wait for someone to visit the US that can bring me some bits back as they are much cheaper over there!

I will also bore you with scooter pics as i do the rebuild on that!!

When are you starting yours? don't leave it too long like i did!
