Ebay: Silver 86D Manta GTE Hatch for sale

Recommended Posts

Looks like it's been sold off eBay.

It was an auction with an opening bid of £8950 required, I suspect a deal has been done with a trader, at an amount mutually acceptable to the seller & the buyer.

I think we will see it up for sale again soon.

Most definitely, with a figure closer to 15K no doubt

Yep I’m afraid so. Better pictures and better description will ad 5k to that from a dealer. Hopefully it’s been bought by someone that wants to enjoy it instead of make a quick buck from it.

Yep, agreed on both counts. I suspect if it has been bought by a dealer and tries to sell it for circa £15K, it will be for sale for quite a while, being a hatch rather than a coupe.

The red decals look good with the silver paintwork which give it the look of an Exclusive.

Never really understood why they didn't do GTE Exclusive hatches second time around (88MY cars) as the hatch always outsold the coupe. More so given they did make 1.8GT Exclusive hatches.
