VIN location Manta b coupe

Hi, could someone tell me the exact location of the vin number on the drivers side inner sill/floor please. I've stupidly covered it in about 5 coats of chassis paint and now I can't find it. I know it's there and I meant to tape it over but forget.....I'm hoping someone can take a picture or give me a reference location or measures. I want it to be visible but I really don't want to start grinding all the paint off trying to find  it.

It’s stamped into the flat section of floor adjacent to the front righthand drivers seat fixing. Between the seat and the cill.

I’ll post a photo in the morning.

As described above, it’s under a little bit of the carpet, a flap on the front carpet section.

Thanks Jonathan. Exactly what I needed. I knew roughly where it was I've put so much paint down I've completely covered it over. Cheers.

Thanks Jess. The interior is still out but if I'd thought it through I could have laid the carpet in and found it that way. Of course that would mean remembering where I've stored the carpet....
