GTEPETE
Ignoring the price....just wondering if these can be adapted to the rear or a Manta, to raise the rear, when required? Unclear if it includes a compressor or not... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320775072066?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3D3f65e9de6d434a878018e116046f7768%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D195483478895%26itm%3D320775072066%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3Ac737da9b-6980-11ed-bafc-562fecb7c06d|parentrq%3A999117871840adb9c308ee78ffffca9e|iid%3A1
cam.in.head
looks likethe manual kit as std equipment on carlton 2200 cdi.you use a footpump or air line to inflate keeping an eye on the guage.if i remember correctly the carlton rear shocks are a very similar lenghth to cav ones. Jessopia74
Why? What do you put in the back of your car that would need such load levelling lol. But, pretty much the diameter at turret top will be the point that needs to be checked, everything under can be modded if even needed, to make fit if you really need them. However, if your going to this amount of trouble to fix a rear ride height issue with loads, then swapping the rear springs out for a proper airbag setup would be better money spent imo, and potentially less work. ®evo03
Probably fitted for towing in the Carlton, or in later years some drifting or diffing, with 4 wheels across where the back seat was.
Sutty2006
Feckin hell HOW MUCH? no wonder people don’t use them anymore. I’ve been after a set for my mk2 Carlton project. It’s got all the airlines in place still but standard shockers. I found a set in Germany but the 500€ price tag put me off. I only really want them to try and keep it factory standard. H-400
Price is indeed too high 😲 I'v got those shocks in my GSI, not the Monroe ones but the original GM ones. Only because I did this: And 2 kids in the back... Had those monroe's in my Vactra A, they were stiffer-harder. And they fitted also in the Manta-B.
