rutts Posted June 21 Share Posted June 21 (edited) Opel ascona a 1974 LHD, built as a rally replica with medium arch kit used as a track day car. 38mm cds tube roll cage welded in, seat fixings welded in, sparco seats large on driver standard on passenger out of date now fitted with sparco harnesses, fire extinguisher in bracket on passenger floor another plumbed in exiting to carbs and fuel pumps. Engine is a 2.2 Peter maiden stage 3 fitted with 45 mm dellorto carbs. Been set up on mikeanics rolling road Congleton. Gearbox is a getrag 265 six bolt clutch puts power to a ZF limited slip diff 3.67 -1, Exhaust is 2 1/2 stainless from end of down pipes to rear. Brakes are new volvo 4 pots on 256mm discs front rear are drums. Hella 2000 spot lights, LED bulbs in headlights. Koni adjustable shocks front and rear. Springs are 600lbs front rear 200- 220lbs no roll bars fitted. Six ATS classics five with r888r tyres 1 with Goodyear as spare. Alloy fuel tank and twin facet pumps in boot. Lots of spares body kit/ suspension arms/ new rear lights/ poly bushes/ alloy wheels a choice of. Photos of build from when arriving from Holland to present day.
