Froggy
Hi all new to the owners club. Own a 86 gte exclusive. Sadly not been touched in 3 year but welding to be started soon then can get onto the fun part of building it. Bought the car 4 year ago as a rolling shell and plan on going original apart from going down the redtop route. Also recently bought a 72 vauxhall viva hc 2300
Jessopia74
We;come to the club. Looks like some progress has been made since you got it. Love the amount if space you have to work around it too. Viva don’t look bad, and a rare beast too
Sutty2006
Welcome to the club Froggy!! You’ll be sure to find all the info you will ever need on here. Tea and coffee available in the kitchen, Sunday roast is chicken or beef and the bins go out Monday morning 👍 2

Viva don’t look bad, and a rare beast too That was about 3 year ago its been on the spit in the back of the workshop for 2 year untouched since moving workshops 🤣 as for the viva its been used as a rally car the last 15 year not as clean as the pics make it look. Has a fiberglass front end and the panels dont line up great. But its a usable car for next summer might even get a few autotests and a classic rally done if i find the time. 11 minutes ago, Metalbasher said: Welcome. With the bonus of being mot and tax exempt

Your much further forward than me anyways got a boy thats gonna do the welding but not all gonna be done at once so will be slow progress. Will get a build thread started once its pulled out from the back wall and the welding starts.

Most of our build threads last years if not decades lol 1
cam.in.head
mine started in 1986 when i got my sportshatch. needed front wings straight away but inner wings and under the car were all fine then ! eventually these cars rust in the usual places and you find something to replace every year especially as mine are used all year round too .
