douile Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Hey guys! 😀 I'm reaching out because my father, my brother-in-law, and I are restoring my dad’s very first car—a Manta B Guy Fréquelin 1.8. We pulled the engine out and noticed the engine mount bushings aren’t the same size. Whenever I look online, I only find the bigger one, not the smaller one. Have any of you come across this problem before? If so, do you have any tips on where to find the right part? Thanks in advance!
rutts Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Both mounts are different in height as standard. Usually there is a large round one on exhaust side iirc. If you are not bothered about being original use 55mm escort engine mounts. 1
