Passed with flying colours although I’ve only drove around 200miles since its last mot

when I pulled in for go go juice when I looked outside there was an employee cleaning bird poop off it lol he definitely wouldn’t of done that with a modern car 😂

Also put this through an mot even though it’s exempt I wanted peace of mind

big thanks to David ( mantasrme) for spotting a few things that needed sorting and fixing them 👍

....Good to see it out and about......if I get a move on, I may be getting a MOT in 2026 (after 26 years off the road)....(my Manta, not me, that is!)

Quick question, should Mantas with plate LSDs be brake tested on rollers? I heard they shouldn't, so be tested on the road...

Just found this...

My mot guy doesn’t risk it. I have a quaiffe Automatic torque binding LSD which I think can be brake tested but don’t hold me on it. He tests the fronts no problem but just inspects my rear disks for use. 👍

if in any doubt, they should perform a tapley brake test on the road,  but these are a terrible form of brake test. I used to do them on wagons.
