h0tr0dder_uk Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 which lotus engine does it have?? i once thought about buying a lotus carlton engine and fitting it into a manta. there was one for sale for £1500 in the motoring news. would have been nice to have put the lotus carlton wheels, kit and badges on as well. Guest Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 Hi..It has The 2.2 turbo engine from a ESPRIT...I have changed the cams,adapted the timing,fitted a KKK based Hybrid turbo unit,bottom end has had a little rework too...Dyno Says 283bhp at flywheel...cant argue about that can I??...LOL!
