  1. Yeah nose is full of filler. Looks like it's had a bump in the past. Nose to bonnet gap is uneven, bumper is bent and the nose is the wrong shape. I've got a new oldstock top half of a nosecone that can fix that.
  2. Depending on how quickly you need the panels I may be able to help. My project is hopefully going in a slightly different direction.
  3. Is this stuff any good Keith? I was tempted to try it on the interior lock surrounds.
  4. Do you still have any centre consoles left? Just the bottom section. Hermes have conveniently lost the one I'd just bought. Cars an 85 GTE. Thanks
  5. You sure? Here he is admiring my car. He can't wait to start on something decent 🤣🤣🤣
  6. Think he's rushing Paul so he can start mine 😁
  7. I'm certainly not accusing anyone of dragging their feet. It's been a difficult 18 months. I'd rather have the best panel available. If you've asked Dave not to do the panels the club is having manufactured and your request has been ignored that's not on. There's plenty of other panels that's unavailable he could have made. Rear floors? Put me down for a club battery tray please Paul.
  8. I wouldn't be so hasty. How far off from production are you? Dave has only just taken deposits for the kick panels. Delivery is 6 to 8 weeks away. He hasn't asked for orders on the battery tray. Me personally I'd rather support the club. Better chance of these panels being available again in the future. I guess Dave will only ever do one run.
  9. Few more pictures of the floors (well lack of them). And a sneak preview of the passenger side. Removed the headlights. This area is actually quite good. You can see how bad the o/s inner wing is clearly.
  10. As the title. wanted dark grey centre console for my GTE Coupe. Got a little heavy handed and damaged mine trying to remove the rear screw. Thanks

    Bonnet

This is the advert you can't find Keith
  12. Managed to steal an hour to spend on the Manta. Managed to get the door step plastic trim off and the rear outer seat bracket off. Lifted the carpets. Not good 😞 Managed to get the rear seat out, after a clean up this is what I found. How did this survive with minimal damage seeing the rear window was missing for so long?
  13. Doors are exactly the same Coupe & Hatch. It's the glass that's different.
  14. And the sections from the inner wings to the headlights. I've got part of a NOS Cavalier nose cone I'm carefully dismantling.
  15. I always look on the positive side. The roof is good so I'll just start from there and work my way down.🤣
  16. Stole an hour over the weekend to tinker on the Manta. Tried turning the engine over but no luck at first. Took the fan belt off (well scraped it off the pully's as it had rusted on well). Good news, Both water pump and alternator are seized but the engine is free. Decided to remove the scrap bonnet. Amazingly the bolts on the hinges came out easy. Then decided time to remove the drivers seat. Well that was easy it fell out. Subframe front tube had rotted through (luck I have two new ones). First few horror photo's of the floors. Sorry about the poor pictures. Remember this is the worst side.
  17. Thanks. I don't see much benefit getting it blasted. Majority of the panels are being replaced anyway. Goodness knows how the nose cone survived yet the bonnet didn't. It's very good in some areas and very bad in others. The car was actually parked on gravel all those years. The rot seems to be from the inside out.
  18. After a 7 month delay due to the lockdown the Manta finally completed the second leg of the journey home. At least it spent the winter in a dry garage rather than exposed to the elements in that garden. Had to be creative opening the bonnet. Catch was seized. Bonnet is scrap anyway so no harm done. Passenger side inner wing is surprisingly solid. Battery tray is toast but that's to be expected. Drivers side is bad.
  19. Would be interested in a good grey carpet. can you message me
  20. Thanks Paul, I've added my name on the list. Fingers crossed we have enough.
  21. Here's a picture showing the front seats. They are filthy. Hopefully removing them in a few weeks when I get the car home.
  22. Fronts should mostly clean up. Think the bolsters will need some attention. Rear will need a complete retrim if it's even savable?
  23. I have a pair in similar condition which will be available soon. Also have the subframes (No sliders) and a very very rough coupe rear seat ( car sat outside missing the rear screen killed that). If anyone is interested get in touch.
