Julian,that was a major help from yourpart.Thanks a lot.Before your reply,I could only assume for that code.I phoned Bosch here in Greece and they told me a very expensive price for that 65A part..155 euros without VAT and 210euros with the VAT..Maybe, a good solution is to rebuild my 45A one with parts of a 65A alternator,a good electrician can do that.

  3. Roy,the Bosch number you need is 0120489108.It is the standard 45A alternator fitted in your car. I am currently searching for a bigger one for my exclusive,if you need another code let me know.
  4. Maybe this helps anyone interested. Check this link http://www.rmasrl.com/A369.html It is the BOSCH code of a 80A alternator that fits to a 2.0 CIH (fitted to a opel monza)so i believe that it is ok for ours mantas! Thanks Andy,i will pm the member.
  5. Bad news Thought that finding the bosch codes of that c30NE alternator and ordered it, would be fine.. Any other solution??Does anybody know a straight bolt on upgrade of a 55A or a 65A or even more?

Mantaman,are you sure that the alternator of that motor(C30NE)is a straight bolt on?I have a CIH 2.2E motor(2200 rekord).I also have a problem with the 45A alternator and trying to find a new one.Is it a little too much 95A??Sounds like an extravagance!But if it does working,no problem.I am currently having a 65A battery by the way.
  7. i took the old 2.0 radiator and instead of two columns of cells(as it has from the factory),i put 3 lines.In other words i made it more dense-thick.Now it is better even in the HOT Greece summers.
  8. if you ask about the rear bumper,not all the exclusives had that bumber. In fact there were 2 editions of exclusives ,the GSI exclusive and the rarer GSI exclusive irmscher edition. The only difference was the rear bumper,the steering wheel (with the irmscher logo) and the irmscher wheels instead of the classic manta GTE wheels.   10. Kostas,i bought a full set of superflex a year ago.Very good styling but a little expensive as well.I have fitted only the ones that goes to the wishbones,i can say it is a bit tricky to change the bushes,especially when you are an amateur.When i will find time,i will change and the others.

  12. great car Kostas!!I've seen only one like that here in Greece and LHD of course.Very strange and unusual car for people in Greece.Do you have any plans for her or you have finished the car?
