  1. Hi Paul, What dimensions are the individual shelves? Cheers!
  2. Slightly dodgey add perhaps but this could be usefull. Looks a good enough shell from what I can see. http://retrorides.proboards.com/thread/160707/opel-manta-saloon-500ono-sunderland

  4. Grat work lad, you need any other bits? I'm in Fermanagh & might have it.

  6. Cheers Steve ! Thanks for that, great help.
  7. Cheers Norman. Wouldn't have a clue where to start, not mechanically minded my self but have it in a big shed so will get stuck into it. Need to cut out part of the bulkhead area to use on another car.
  8. Hi lads. I'm removing the engine & box from a damaged Manta hatch & have seen them removed with front cradle etc. Car will be used for parts so just wondering if it's a big job to drop all out & where would I start? Thanks ! Oh it's a 1.8.

  10. I have a 2.0SR four door in bronze. It has around 60k miles on it. I've had it for about six years but never used it. Recently I left it into a garage to have a pre mot check & to have a knocking sorted out in the engine, believed to be a cam. Anyway the garage discovered that at some stage ,many years ago, it had developed a leak in the bulkhead under the servo and water had gotten in, rotting the floor on the drivers side. They have cut out the rot and at present I'm trying to source a mint floor pan or have one made for it. The garage has aksed a fabricator to give a quote to sort it but he hasn't looked at it as yet, despite numerous promises.. Apart from that the car is really lovely. I gave it a bow over three or four years back as the lacquer had blistered a little but I do have pics of before & after to show that there was no rot, or so I thought. Interior really is one of the best I've seen. Car is currently about 80 miles away but I am going to contact the garage next week & if they haven't got me a quote for repair yet I may let it go as it is if you are interested? The other problem is I'm in Northern Ireand. (UK car though)
  11. You could also try www.totalopel.com Enda. Irish based Opel site, http://totalopel.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=20 Shouldn't be that hard to get one hopefully, Good luck!
  12. Might be of interest? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1984-fiat-strada-cabrio-/221250659621
  13. Is it different from 2.0 GTE?
  14. That would be why it's described as a 400R, as in replica. You would struggle to pick up a genuine Ascona 400 for £10k.
  15. Been up to my eyes lately but got the rear fitted one evening there... I like them though
  16. Can't see this auction going the distance? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321129438852?_trksid=p5197.c0.m619
  17. What is this sorcery you speak of ?
  18. Ok Dave, sorry. Like I say I also have a complete Manta accident damaged so if you don't get sorted let me know & I'll try and sort it for you, Paul
  19. Actually I may have been looking at wrong end of column. Is it on this end?
  20. Sorry I'm so late getting back to you but have the steering column here. I have a photo of it so if you could tell me roughly where abouts is is or even mark it on the photo I'll get it off tomorow morn & posted.
