Welcome back Martin! Is that BEEDZ'S old car you've bought?

Do you still need discs dude?

I'd like to say "At last! Jesus Sutty, get it done, it's been long enough mate!" but that would be massively hypocritical of me. So I'll say it's excellent to see some progress and excellent for me to get some inspiration to get mine sorted
Worth a few quid to the right person, just not so many people doing Asconas or Cav saloons these days. Most of them would end up with 400 arches anyway
Wasn't that blitzi's car? Sure I recognise the reg number

Sorry guys, been a hectic couple of weeks involving loved ones in hospital and commuting to visit. Will check it tomorrow and get it sorted, apologies for the delay

No worries, they're a proper weak spot, virtually every 70s/80s GM car I've owned has had a perished vacuum hose at some point. I'll check how much we've got left tomorrow and let you guys know!
Hi Stu, long time no speak! We keep the right stuff in work, if your number's still the same I'll give you a call during the week. Quite happy to chuck some in a jiffy bag for you mate
Drop me a message tomorrow Sutty, we bought up some old stock in work a couple of years ago and I'm pretty sure we still have a few sets in stock.

I've got one you can have for free if you can come get it from Carms, SA18 area. Bronze tint
Excellent work mate! If this ends up half as good as your previous efforts it'll be a stunner. Good to see you're keeping busy

GM part no 11063012, still available at Vaux dealers last time I tried

Door hinge pins - 11063012
Posted July 16, 2018
That was on the left hand end of the show and shine on Saturday wasn't it?
If anyone wants something like this I know a very similar one coming to the end of a restoration that'll probably be for sale soon, a lot less money than 10k too

Try Reprotec on ebay, they do uprated hinges to attach the rear quarter glass as well

Since I know the car and Jason well, I'll say for anyone looking - yes, it's awesome, and worth every penny.
Good luck mate

Alright then, who bought it? And which way was I looking when Cav coupe values suddenly skyrocketed?
Posted February 15, 2017
It belonged to a Steven Jennings, I was lusting after this car at Billings in 2012 just before the rain started. Seats are original, I had an early '79 Sportshatch with the same ones so they'd be right for the Cav
That's lovely, and it's making me really miss my old rotten Sportshatch. Even the same colour!

Manifolds are reasonably easy to come by, the only problem I know of is that the trumpets on 45s foul the servo/master cylinder on RHD cars
Mate, that's awesome. Start making them, I'll buy a blue one!

Autos are pretty rare, still a few in our local area but a lot of them have been converted over the years.
I've got more if you ever need them Plumster!
