  1. Ok alot of work but WOW!,the history with this is phenomenal. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Cavalier-Coupe-Mega-Bertha-Racecar-Prototype-1976-1977/201992025701?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140107083358%26meid%3Df2bae2273a54475db14a363f939094f3%26pid%3D100011%26rk%3D6%26rkt%3D9%26mehot%3Dpp%26sd%3D192224212751 Just seen this has already been posted by andyc already, with comments,so apologies to all on that one.
  2. Am I right in saying you have quite a few manta's,if so just pick the best one and sell the rest, because believe me it set me back years for having to many as there was only one i was never going to sell and that was my original manta, i just stuck it in the corner and sometimes raided it for parts, (sorry)to keep others on the road. But having said that your best bet might be to sell the whole lot you have and buy gordo's very respectable hatch, which you have recently commented on but you would need a loan first for that to be fair.
  3. This is better than that one that was being imported from japan, and over 2k cheaper aswell and more to the point manual box. 17k wow! should be like a new car,so bearing that in mind this is a buddy good buy.
  4. All great looking manta's cheers for the upload I'm liking that battleship grey hatch with white wheels alot, just looks different and quite subtle
  5. very small airbourne, but thanks for latest contribution mate.
  6. Looks real nice does that, good time to sell aswell with show season about to start, wonder what the reserve is no bids yet though
  7. Forgive me for raining on your post mate ,but I did spot this one weeks ago and this could be the best calibra on the market to buy at a price though,,but as danny says its an auto, which have their place, but its not a drivers car end of.
  8. Lol until you pointed it out mate I never realised how goofy the gte bumper is compared to the exclusive one which sits a lot better on the rear end for sure.
  9. surely the asking price could be knocked down to £1500 as its surely worth that much in parts alone, with it being the manta that most folk still want to kill for the ( really starting to get boring now 16v parts) However from a traders point of view one must take into account a profit margin I guess ,I think.....whatever...
  10. It sold in the end then Danny, and now its out on the road being used like it should be A happy ending all round then.
  11. That's a good call on that one mate .I do remember that thread,i would imagine that run has gone now. Problem is,if you can call it that, I have found a supplier (Germany) with this fabricas fitted to earlier opels.
  12. I was exactly the same danny, but what killed it for me was the chav brigade getting their hands on it and destroying its reputation/image They are getting rare, this is how it used to be for the manta before the market changed, i200's used to change hands for £2500 This cally in particular is a special numbered edition, however I seem do remember quite possibly the same car sold for less than 5k this year so that may be its current value still, but I think there is a bit of an upturn in the market for the calibra at the moment just like the manta.
  13. Wonder it its the same supplier that made that blitz cloth for retropower a few years back aswell........,all we need now is a run of the Daytona check& bolster material.
  14. calibra http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Calibra-Turbo-limited-edition-/262978101294?hash=item3d3ab7602e:g:--kAAOSwi7RZEy-K
  15. Good "ol" mantadoc and his 2p trick it will be on his epitaph God bless him....
  16. Potential to be a good purchase for someone.I could be wrong but should there not be over riders on them bumpers.
