    Did you get sorted with the carbs & manifold? I have an ex Austin McHale 3ltr straight 6 sat in the garage with triple webers etc. Also have a ZF LSD with 4.75 CW&P from a 400.

    If it's the one I'm thinking of, I've seen it parked up just off the A66 between Penrith & Keswick a few times. Don't know who's it is though.

    The feed comes from the coil. Not sure of the colour off the top of my head (Green I think). Will have to consult the wiring diagram when I get home from work. I see you're in Carlisle. I'm in Whitehaven. Nice to see someone else into Manta's from round this neck of the woods!

    Does anyone know if my old rally car is still around? Not showing as scrapped. It's either sitting in someones garage or someone still has the log book. Would love to get the car back!     I have a 4.75 Manta 400 LSD diff, but have nothing to fit it into. I don't suppose anyone out there has an axle casing for a 400/Commodore do they??? Fingers crossed!

    Hi I cut some strips of metal and shaped them in the vice. I attached them using the round push on retaining clips
