  1. Hi Pete, Yes that is still the case with NCB, after lapsing a policy with us we do provide the next insurer with proof. Similarly we do contact insurers on behalf of our new policyholders requesting proof of NCB, thereby saving the insured time. Hope that this helps. Dan
  2. Hi Chris, Thanks for the message and there shouldn't be an issue with a valuation as long as it is in-line with others or realistic. Our insurers will use a variety of yardsticks for gauging a valuation but in the vast majority of cases we usually agree with x 7 photos and the completed form. Thanks, Dan

Hi Julian, Yes that is correct - classic policies by there very nature don't accrue No claims Bonus as they are defined by very low mileage - typcially 1500/3000/5000 miles per annum and typically 2nd /3rd cars. So insurers do not provide NCB or at the same time need to see proof of NCB. Rest assured if your policy with us is a second vehicle and you have NCB on another vehicle, most insurers would accept that. if you have been claim free with us for the duration I believe we'd happily supply a letter to any subsequent insurer to that effect. Hi again, I did respond to your message via a private message on 1st May but just to reiterate you paid £259.77 last year and this year with the rate increase it's £282.25 - so not entirely unreasonable given your advanced years of 86yrs old. Given your advanced years we may not have had many insurers quoting as premiums do rise unfortunately as claims stats show the more mature drivers' are increasingly involved in accidents.   10. Hi Kapitan, Thanks for the message and just to advise you can place a valuation on the vehicle as long as not too outlandish compared to other examples in similar condition. However, whilst verbally advising our quotes at the time of the quotation / incepting the policy we would then request x 7 recent photo's and the completion of a straightforward form. Hi Bris, Thanks for the message and if you have been offered an agreed valuation by one of our insurers/underwriters they will need the valuation form completed and the x7 recent photos sent to us. This should be clearly explained in the documentation sent to you. We would only really request an independent valuation if we cannot agree the valuation though.
