  1. There is a red hatch on Ebay at the moment which looks reasonable, you would need to take a closer look at the usual rust areas of course any repairs to Swan necks will need putting right sooner rather than later, not cheap if you don't have the skills yourself. If you have the money there is a particularly lovely coupe on Ebay which is looking for a new home, sad in that it was Dan's who was a good friend to many on here but I'm sure he would have wanted to go to someone who would cherish it like he did.
  2. I like that colour now, maybe an age thing but 30 years ago I'd have written it off as a Grandad colour 🤣
  3. It's giving me OCD just looking at it, I need to get a mop on it 🤣
  4. Very nice Mike, May I ask how much it set you back?
  5. This is a full repaint as it's just generally scruffy, usual areas around the sunroof, bonnet lip etc, issue seems to be mine gets bumped for little jobs that keep him in cash, perhaps a solution might be to offer to pay him in stages, dunno 🤔
  6. Agreed, still can't buy anything mind as mine is STILL in the bodyshop, going to pay a surprise visit next week with a charged battery to jump it and bring it home if he hasn't started it, would be better sat with me keeping it running than left there seizing up.

  8. Web membership gives you access to everything I believe.
  9. This is 105 but looks good. https://www.classicfuelsolutions.co.uk/collections/all Yeah that's the stuff I use couldn't remember the name.
  10. There is a place in Bredbury who sells classic racing fuel which will certainly put a tiger in your tank but it ain't cheap.
  11. I use classic valvemaster plus on mine, I won't let e10 near any of my cars though. I use the 99 RON fuel with the valvemaster, not cheap but I'm not risking that crap attacking everything rubber or corrodeable, I'm sure someone on here has a method to extract the crap from the modern fuels.
  12. I saw the garage on ours and right away I had buying fever, Wife caught sight of the Hot Tub and once She found out it was staying as they were off to Spain it was a done deal!
  13. Tempted to get mine out of the bodyshop and paint it myself at this rate, got all the gear.....what could go wrong 😬😬
  14. Think it's good you left it standard, can't be that many left. I do get the temptation for the more modern lump but nice to have some standard cars left.
  15. It does look tidy indeed, I'd keep the Manta but I'm a bit biased 😉 good luck with the sale, my Project that I need to sell to fund another Manta is STILL in the bodyshop although the paint arrived yesterday and it is finally getting stripped, told him that the Mrs is eyeing up all kinds of furniture and decor for when I turn the conservatory in to a warm room in the next few months so he needs to get a wriggle on if he wants paid 😂

  17. Both look interesting for sure, not on Faceache but seem like good projects.
  18. I so do and I was thinking the same to be honest.... space is my issue, I have a gap but only because my other Project is in the bodyshop 🤔 and I have my eye on something rather special but that depends on moving my Project on... tempting at the price when I last looked mind.
  19. My SR was around that state of rot back in the day, people at the time thought I was nuts doing the body and all the welding to save it for a car that was worth around 400 quid at the time but that car gave me so much fun and I learnt loads along the way. With the way prices are now perhaps its worth saving? 🤔
  20. I haven't known Danny for as long as a lot of you but he was always willing to help and sorted me many a part,my sincere condolences to his friends and family at what must be a tough time.
  21. You keeping it or has a good home been found?
