  2. This one looks like its going to sell for decent money: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/284977774038? Always thought silver hatches looked just right.
  3. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134250169492 Located in Haywards Heath.
  4. I think everyone on here knows of it and the history. It was Dan O's labour of love:
  5. It didn't sell apparently. Here's the link to it. You can still see the original listing: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/295112923950
  6. Doubt that will be around for long: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234660333093?
  7. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/325278339923? Lovely looking car. Top dollar for a GT though.
  8. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134145272627? Not sure its a £6K car. ....and the red Berlinetta hatch that's also currently for sale: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304522037700
  9. Yep, agreed on both counts. I suspect if it has been bought by a dealer and tries to sell it for circa £15K, it will be for sale for quite a while, being a hatch rather than a coupe. The red decals look good with the silver paintwork which give it the look of an Exclusive. Never really understood why they didn't do GTE Exclusive hatches second time around (88MY cars) as the hatch always outsold the coupe. More so given they did make 1.8GT Exclusive hatches.
  10. An interesting sounding car. Not one I recognise. Looks very smart. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/opel-manta-gte-/185439181942
  11. Completely shocked to read about Dan passing away and at such a young age. I'm another that never met him, but had many discussions with him over the years re Manta's. He will be much missed. Deepest condolences to his family.
  12. Just 1 lady owner and 77K miles: https://www.carandclassic.com/car/C1449106
  13. Also on Car & Classic: https://www.carandclassic.com/car/C1454619 I'm pretty sure this is a well known car.
  14. Pretty sure that's the one that Dan O restored about 5 years ago. Can't find the thread but as I recall it was re sprayed in the wrong colour. Steel Grey instead of Dolphin Grey. Has the rare beige interior. Looks very nice again now.
  15. Can't help feel that if this car is a good as it looks it should be worth £15-20K. But, being a hatch it probably won't. It all looks very nice. I'd be somewhat surprised if that paintwork is original. It just looks too good! The MOT history goes back to 2006 and has had only one advisory in the last 15 years. Wondering if that tailpipe is the original.
  16. As mentioned in the thread re Manta values: https://www.mathewsons.co.uk/auction/lot/lot-338---1987-opel-manta-exec/?lot=4247&so=0&st=opel&sto=0&au=5&ef=&et=&ic=False&sd=0&pp=48&pn=1&g=1
  17. 75 LHD Manta 1.9 GTE: https://www.gumtree.com/p/opel/1975-opel-manta-1900-gte/1415949908 73M Manta 1.9: https://www.carandclassic.com/car/C1442435
  18. Auction ends at 15:23 this afternoon. At 1pm it's at £6100.
  19. I'm assuming it's a 1.9 rather than 2.0L as advertised. Lovely colour! Shame about the corrosion taking hold: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Cavalier-Coupe-Mk1-2-0-AUTO-Opel-Manta-B-/265627795505
  20. A bit of TLC required. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165380922486
