entwistlecymru
Add a third Manta to the BMW V12 club although mine's going in a B series. I'm glad to see it fits cos everyone I've told wouldn't believe me! Will you be sticking to standard engine management for this? Transeurope, what box have you fitted? A Getrag 265 is a good fit in the standard tunnel with an adaptor plate and the auto bellhousing. Use a V8 flywheel and cobble up a clutch using M3 bits. Easy!
transeurope
I'll use a borg warner t56 (viper gen2) box, with tilton ot2 and ttv s62 fly (5.3kg) in connection with a 1031 axle (already purchased) or maybe bmw irs (e30). ecu autronic sm4. Holset hy 35 turbo's. Edited October 30, 2012 by transeurope
stianøverland
not very much has happened, just some minor things, gaskets replaced. aaah, and the turbo's are fitted! ;D when i was building the exhaust, this is really time consuming here are the rims i most likely are going to use, the are atm 8/9 x16 but will be widened to 10/13x16 cya! transeurope
now i need to build a new gear-tunnel =) How far do you need to cut the bulkhead? I'm intending to cut (red lines) the firewall like this (black stripes area will dissapear) and move it in direction of the blackstriped zone, hope this is far back enough? x-pat mike
looks cool, who will tune the ecu? where would you get a standalone harness for these? over here beemer motors are cheap as parts costs are horrendous and no one wants to wire them, i was going to fit an m3 motor but for the wiring issues and to be honest it seems way too much work for only 320 hp! the v12 looks way forward for good handling, what does it weigh?
