Scribe of Lincoln
Wickenby Wings & Wheels is taking place on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th June at the former site of RAF Wickenby, which is situated between Lincoln and Market Rasen in Lincolnshire. Arrive around 10am in a classic of over 30 years old and you should get in for free. If you turn up in any Manta or Cavalier Mk1 I would think you'd be OK. The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight should be doing a flypast at some stage, weather pending. There will be exhibitions of 1940s memorabilia, various food stalls and numerous planes. I'll probably be going both days. Postcode for sat nav is LN3 5AX. The airfield is signposted off the A158 from Lincoln to Wragby. If you want to know more, the organiser's name is Neil and his number is 0776 6837614. Regards, Ben
