I originally purchased this car to compete in road rallies whilst living in Wales at university. Unfortunaltey, time and money became an issue and the car never got used for it's true protential. The car was purchased similar to how you see it today, I have added bits along the way to improve performance. Sadly, I have too many toys and not enough time, and house buying has come into the picture, so the manta has to go towards the deposit. Spec: 1987 E reg Manta B 2litre 8v CIH GTE Hatch 54493 miles, (genuine, 3rd owner from new) comprehensive history Met Steel Grey Engine: 2litre 8valve CIH Peter Burgess head Kent Cam (Not Fitted) Magnecore leads Adjustable fuel reg K&N air filter Custom quickshift Jetex exhaust system (Manifold back) Kenlowe fan (Viscous fan and cowl included) 3core Radiator Welded diff Suspension/brakes: Bilstein B8 dampers alround 400lb front springs 200lb rear springs Braided hoses alround Carlton 2.2 front calipers Maxtorq pads Front strut brace (Not fitted) Manta 14" alloy wheels Goodyear tyres (Excellant condition, lots of tread) Interior: 6pt safety devices cage Bucket seats harnesses STRIPPED - does have front dash, roof lining and door cards Exterior: Fibreglass 400 bonnet (Original included) Number squares on doors Rear bumper removed (But Included) Irmscher twinheadlights Rolling road tuned in 2007. No mot or tax Generally an alround brilliant car, lovely to drive, but every great car has some downsides... The underside is very good, had it up on a ramp and stone guarded it 3 years ago. However the body panels are showing the car's age. There is rust to the lower corners of the rear arches, top of the front left wing and bottom of the rear valance. The car has had welding in the past and has had replacement skirt trim fitted, which requires painting. It comes with all the interior parts (carpet, parcel shelf supports, seatbelts) and rear seat for road rallying, probably lots of other bits I've forgotten. Comprehensive service history, and flew through all its MOTs whilst I've owned the car (3/4 years), sadly as much as I don't want to sell, needs must.
