adeadly
Hi, I have recently started a Manta A rebuild, the body is complete, new floor panels etc. I want to fit an Altezza engine and gear box but what type of back axle set up would suit. Thanks
MANTAMAN
Had look up what Altezza was, for those that are wondering it's a Toyota or in this country a Lexus IS, Depends which engine you are fitting, as a rule the more power the bigger the axle needed, upto 200 bhp the original axle should hold out, beyond this then live (solid) axle's like a Salisbury will be needed or change things completely and re-engineer the car for indipendant rear suspension. adeadly
Thanks, have the doner car already, it's the one with the yamaha Beams 220bhp engine. But have the full car so may be able to fit the full back axle aswell
