spiney_norman
Hi all, just bought a mk2 Cavalier but the tyres on it are completely useless. I'm either after a decent set of 185/70/13s to go on the exising alloys or a cheap set of wheels and tyres I can just bolt on for an MOT. Obviously I'd prefer if they weren't a million miles away - what have you got?
druid
I've got a 5 or 6 tyres mate, decent tread mainly Kumho (i think) don't want a lot for them at all. They came off my Manta B Berlinetta as I bought some new Uni Royals. If suitable, maybe we could do a swap/part-ex on some bits for the Carlton we spoke about (I'm looking into whether Senator A doors will fit). If you want I could get some photos on Saturday. Not particularly close to you, but I'm working in Hereford this Sunday if that helps. Edited January 29, 2013 by druid
spiney_norman
Nice one Andy, if you'd swap a set of tyres for a pair of doors I'd be very interested mate! I'm not about Sunday, my Viva's off to it's new home so I'll be helping load it, but I'll keep in touch
druid
No probs mate. That sounds great. Hopefully find out if the senny doors will fit the carlton. If they don't I'm sure you'll have some other parts I could use that we could do a swap for. I'll get some pics of the tyres on Saturday and pm them to you. spiney_norman
Cheers mate, some pictures would be great. I remember looking at my Rekord saloon and thinking the front doors looked exactly the same shape as the ones on my Dad's Senators, but never got around to taking one off to check!
