sirjasongould Posted October 15, 2013 Share Posted October 15, 2013 Hello, apologies for this being my first post, unfortunately my younger brother is very ill so he's asked me to sell his car, thought I'd try on here :-) Opel Manta 1983 THIS IS A RESTORATION PROJECT OR SPARES OR REPAIR, IT NEEDS WORK, IF YOU ARE UNSURE DO NOT BID!!!! It was purchased as a complete car approx 6 months ago. It had been dry stored for approx 5 years by a manta enthusiast who never got round to restoring it. Totally standard when purchased, mileage shows 28000 on speedo. My brother started the restoration but due to obvious reasons can not complete it. I believe all the original parts are there but can not guarantee minor things may be missing. Fitted with Rover 3.5 V8 and LT75 gearbox. V8 has been trial fitted and nothing has been connected up. Carbs are missing parts so will need carbs repairing or replacing. Original engine and gearbox included. Front inner wings and rear lower inner wings at the rear of the sills have been repaired. Only other rust I can see is battery tray, possibly front floor pans and that pictured in the photo album below. Will roll but will need trailoring away. Located in Doverourt, Essex.
