dan_123
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to find the 4 x rubber sections that go around that actually headlight and sit against the twin headlamp shell. So not the rubbers that separate the shell from the bod / grill of the car, but the ones that sit on the lights themselves. Mine are crumbling and hard! I was also wondering if there is a supplier for the white plastic headlamp adjusters that go on the back? thanks very much!! Dan
Jenson
Hi dan I have the same problem as you have I attended billing at the weekend and picked up some irmscher bezels from a fellow member on here martin also gave me some old rubbers these are near impossible to obtain. I have been glued to my iPad looking on eBay here and Germany with no success at all . It appears there are many variations of mountings and adjusters the ones I have seen have a black metal ring instead of the rubber but these are also near impossible to find. Morette in France do a mounting kit but not the rubbers or the metal ring. I have been to a supplier this morning and brought a lamp and a 5 3/4 mounting kit at a cost of £42 the lamps ok but the mounting kit is no good unless I heavely modify it. There are quite a few topics on this in the basic tech help section with some very usefull solutions. I think we only have two solutions to this problem 1 make your own 2 look for a good complete set. I hope this helps and will keep you updated if I find anything please let me know if you have any success cheers martin.
dan_123
Thanks very much Martin! I did suspect that this might be the case. Regarding the rubbers, i could sort of do without but i just wondered if anyone had a stash. I shall let you know if i have any luck!
