huw
what size wheels have most people got on their mantas with 400 kit on. I havent fitted a kit but widened the arches out about 3 inches, theres a thread up some where with pics. Whats the best way to find out what size wheels to fit, by measuring from the hub out? The axle isnt on the car at the minute cos its on a jig. also want to lower it but not sure how much, any sugestions. cheers. Huw.

Ideally you need the axle on , measure from the hub out to inside wheel arch the deduct 1/2 inch to clear arch then measure to rear shock allow 1/2 clearance that should give you max width of wheel, bear in mind a 10 inch wheel will be 11 inches overall because you have 2 lips... PETESDREAM
If you speak to any good wheel stockist you can get some good quality spacers for them, these have come along way since the days of shimming(the way i did it).they bolt on to the hub and your wheel bolts to it!all they need to know is stud pattern and what wheels your puttin on. hope this helps some
