Rab
Hi guys looking at some newer recors for my 88 exclusive dont just want to fit non matching fronts has anyone ever fitted a non manta rear seat unit would be interested to know maybe Cav gsi or Rs seats Thanks Rob Hi Rob. Never done myself but if I were to try I would head doon thi road in getting new choice of rear seat and see if covers could not be removed from manta original and new tailored to suit old seat and back then you would knwo fitting would be perfect.I am sure any good upholsterer / car could do this work for you. Car internal width, floor pan / centre tunnel, height of rear parcel shelf & curvature re seat backs ect ect would all have to be near on the same. I defo would try and get old recovered with new. Jist thinkin oot loud!! cheers rab.
Leon
Rab is right - everything would have to be spot on for it to fit properly. Is yours a coupe or a hatch? I imagine the coupe would be easier to bodge something in as it won't have to fold forwards or fit the retaining clips.
