vealmonkey Posted March 14, 2009 Share Posted March 14, 2009 i am thinking of geting a manta A and was wondring if it may be tax free , i have heard of a M reg that is tax free (due to build date) , this car thats in mind is L reg 72 -73 the car has been of the road since 94 and i have not seen the v5 yet , so what do you think tax free ? tommy manta Posted March 14, 2009 Share Posted March 14, 2009 your car qualifies for free tax if it was constructed in 1972 or before. as in, any time before january 1st 1973. it'll also be allowed to wear attractive black and silver plates. i think this is right but i'm sure someone will correct me if i'm wrong.
