costasa
Hi Chris, I know that you are not a big fan of the piper cams but in my search in the ebay i spot this one, what you think, it's a good value for the money? http://cgi.ebay.co.u...em=370317112269 " This item is new and unused HR285/2 Inlet timing 35-77 VL/VC .500"/.012" FL 109 Exhaust timing 77-35 VL/VC .500"/.012" FL 109 An all new asymetric profile utilising differing length opening and closing flanks. 292 degrees duration coupled with only 70 degrees of overlap and .500" lift makes this a superb ultimate road cam. Also ideal for Motoring News/ stage rally combining very strong mid-range with good top end. " Thanks Costa

The problem i had was not with the CIH motor but with a ford crossflow which the lobes just wore away on the piper cam fitted. For that sort of cash i would give it a go. Chris I Chris thanks for the reply. I think it's just the cam and the followers, the springs i have to buy apart. I will send a e-mail to them to know if they have the springs.
