About ready to put the fuel tank on now but unsure about fuel pipe.

Want to use stainless braided in the engine bay to make it look pretty, but I guess it'd not be a great idea for under the car to fuel tank? If so are mot folk happy with pipe joinings? I heard they really don't like it on brake lines.

Its low pressure as I'll be using carbs. I seem to have 8mm ID lodged in my mind for some reason. Is that about the right size of pipe? (Its an A series btw)
