Dave750rs
Looking for any suggestions for exhaust manifolds and downpipes to suit a 1979 cavalier with a Rover 3.5 V8 lump fitted it currently has pipes tacked into place that obscure spark plugs etc !! that run towards radiator for a route round front of engine. If anyone knows of a supplier or the easiest type of manifolds/downpipes to modify to suit the cavalier layout or even photo's with current cars with V8 units showing exhaust routes Cheers Dave
paulmanta
Horrible horrible area. I am doing this job at the moment and I wish I could just cut 8 holes in the bonnet and run open pipes straight out the top. Laser cut flanges and a big pack of premade bends etc from Magnaflow is one way of doing it. Its narrow, long and there is a starter and steering shaft in the way on the drivers side. Best of luck !
