MB15 Posted December 16, 2011 Share Posted December 16, 2011 You need to cut quite a lot out of the cylinder head , ie narrow the exhaust cam cap nd bottom race to about 5 mm round , a good few mm`s of the side of the head and a wee nip out off the oil galery dowel bolt to fit , Mine is still not right so... Bite the bullet (like i done) and get the purpose made bracket from Kev Abbott on here , (£85 Inc Postage)--(check the parts for sale section) Really well made!!! It`s worth doing in the long run as mine was fouling the belt slightly after all that work! so £85 is far cheaper that belt fail - bent vavles , guides ect , If your still keen on going down the route of the normal 1.8 bracket i`ll get u sum pictures , (I have a spare head thats been cut to fit , ( a lot easyer when the head is off) Kevin Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
