dog321fish
Hi all 1983 1.8s Manta Berlinetta. Is this a garage or DIY task to replace both inner tie/trk rod ends and front wheel bearings? If DIY any pointers how to do it please. Anyone know a reasonable garage in the Chester/North wales border area's that is prepared to work on "older" vehicles? Cheers Dave
opelmantagsi
pretty simple and easy task if you have tools and a Haynes manual that will tell you everything you need to know. not sure what your tool kit comprises but from memory you will possibly need jack & axle stands Vise Hammer & Punch Socket set Torque Wrench Ball joint splitter (if the rod end to hub nut wont come off without spinning the ball joint on the rod end) Possibly some spline keys
