robah
Don't know if this has been added to the forum, but I have just watched the highlight program on Motors TV (Sky 413), and then looked at the RAC official site to confirm venues and dates. This year the cars upto 1987 are being allowed to enter, so hopefully the Manta's Ascona's, Audi's etc will be running. I have copied from the latest news for the rally below from http://www.rogeralbertclarkrally.org/RAC_2013/2013_news.htm WWRS R.A.C Rally Championship TV schedule confirmed The 2013 television schedule has been confirmed, with a massive 90 hours of coverage on Motors TV, which started with a special ‘R.A.C Rally’ night on Sunday 10 February. Each round of the championship will be reported in a dedicated stand-alone 90- minute programme, while a mid-season review and a two-hour end-of-season review will mean at least 15 hours of prime coverage. With each programme likely to air around six times, the total exposure for the championship will be up to 90 hours. In a real festive bonus for rally fans, the two-hour season review programme will be screened on Christmas Day, starting at 9pm. The event reports are all scheduled for 9pm on Saturday evenings, with the first one on Saturday 16 March as the report of the Mid Wales Stages goes out less than two weeks after the rally. Support for coverage of the 2013 WWRS R.A.C Rally Championship comes from TV partners Swift Leisure, Jordan Road Surfacing, Skipton Ford, Sherwood Engines, Robinson Road Planing, Rally and Competition Equipment, Lloyd-Thomas Opticians, Amigos and rallyprep.co.uk. David Winstanley of rallytv.co.uk has been appointed to film all seven rounds of the championship and is planning to bring all the action from the stages as well as the very best in-car footage. The provisional TV schedule is: Saturday 16 March at 9pm (Rally Marketing Mid Wales Stages) Saturday 20 April at 9pm (Rally North Wales) Saturday 25 May at 9pm (SG Petch Tour of Hamsterley) Saturday 13 July at 9pm (DMACK Carlisle Stages) Saturday 31 August at 9pm (Neath Valley Stages) Saturday 19 October at 9pm (Trackrod Rally) Monday 25 December at 9pm (season review) The dates for coverage of the Red Kite Stages and the mid-season review will be confirmed once the revised date for the Red Kite has been confirmed.
