taylorblue5
Hi, iv been muckin around on photoshop and found that my exclusive coupe would really suit 18" wheels. Il upload the pics iv made when i get into port as im currently at sea. Has anybody fitted 18's to a standard car, mine has had the rear seats removed so thats not a problem. Cheers, summer is nearly upon us again. Il hopefully meet everyone at Billing this year weather permitting ofcourse ha.
Dom400
Hi, Yes I have 18's on the rear and they fit with no issues! I know it will divide the manta community but i think that 18's really suit the car, as the rear arches are massive and the standard 14's just look tiny compared to the modern cars! taylorblue5
Sounds good Dom! Are you also running 18's on the front?? I have power steering so thats thankfully one thing less to worry about ;-) The wheels im after are something similar to wolfrace trackready super lights but im looking to get something with an et15-20 offset. See what happens. Cheers!!
Dom400
Nah i have 17's up front! Got some Lenso's for it bout 5 years ago, and I think they still look amazing. Hopefully the link below works, but this was taken last year before I converted the rear discs and increaed the rear track! http://www.flickr.com/photos/94651856@N04/8618920440/in/photostream Go for 18's and you wont regret it! taylorblue5
Would 18's provide any problems on the front do you think?? I have rear disc conversion, one of the best mod's iv carried out.
Dom400
TBH i dont think so! Get in contact with Suffolk County Manta's, i remember they did a purple hatch with massive wheels they could advise you or maybe RetroPower. FYI dont rely on the wheel supplier to actually know if it will fit or not, had some bad experiences in the past!
