DiMarco
Hi all, Just wondering what brakes upgrades there are for the A series. If I bought the Manta close to me I know that she is running 320BHP I am not sure what brakes are on it but would want something to stop the beast. Thank you all, Nick
Jason b
Blimey which manta is that, and what engine is it running? There is a fair bit of info in the members area regarding all the possibilities for brake upgrades What will the car be used for? as fade resistance is usually the main factor rather than actual stopping power. DiMarco
Ha ha ha yeah Jason she is a Beast a sleeping Beast. I believe that she was built as a street legal drag car big fat tires on the back stripped out all the gauges cage the lot. She is running a 5.7 litre Cleveland 351 V8 from a 1970 ford mustang I have to say she sounds amazing. Have a look below and you will get some picture but bare in mind she Is in a sorry state. I would have thought as she has such a big HP engine that the brakes must be upgraded. Hope all goes well on Tuesday as I am getting a member to look over it for me to see if see is worth the repair. http://forums.mantaclub.org/topic/35123-manta-a-series-body-pannels/ Edited December 15, 2013 by DiMarco
