Fermanta
Just went for a spin called in to visit someone & snap went my clutch cable. Is it a big job to change it? I have a 1.8 scrapped out the road so going out to try & remove it, any tips or advice would be helpfull. Not really mechanically minded but I have tools & need to get car lifted asap! Ems
Haven't done this for a long time, if I remember correctly: Remove the nut and locknut from the release arm under the car, pull the cable into the engine bay. Inside the car lift the clutch pedal and unhook the cable. Pull the cable into the engine bay. Reverse process for fitting and adjust the cable until the clutch pedal is in the correct position. Fermanta
Cheers Ems - got it done, was much easier than expected. Used the old one from my 1.8 so now also know that they are interchangable, at least in my case
