mantasrme Posted October 23, 2015 Share Posted October 23, 2015 For sale is a pair of Cosworth vented discs of 283mmx24mm size modified and ready to fit to the front of the Manta. They are a great big brake conversion to be used with Early Calibra/cavalier turbo ATE calipers for 284x24 discs (late ones are different for 288 discs). Or an aftermarket 4pot caliper with adaptor mount bracket. You will need at least 15" wheels to fit these brakes and depending how aggressively you drive and what rear brakes you're running you might need to look at the brake balance With standard rear drums I find these brakes are a little too powerful and can result in the fronts locking with spirited driving, but i drive like a hooligan a lot of the time . A rear disc conversion and correct grade of pads can sort this out. Or a bias pedal box can also be used.
