h0tr0dder_uk
I just started having a weird issue with the lights on my A series. I have no brake lights or indicators. When I press the brake or turn on the indicators the battery light comes on but the lights dont light up. I charged the battery and cleaned the terminals etc. I'm assuming the brakes lights and indicators are on a different fuse etc?
mantadoc
Are the light bulbs fitted in the tail lights or tail lights completely disconnected? Same question for front lights. This is a classic common earthing kind of problem.
h0tr0dder_uk
I havent changed anything regarding wiring on the car and they were working the other day. I also think its probably a bad earth so will most likely have to track down all of the earth leads. All lights have bulbs in them and all grounds should still be intact
mantadoc
Take the bulbs out of the lights or disconnect them (one at a time) When the problem disappears you disconnected the unit that is the cause, probably. It could also be a bad dashboard earth contributing.
