Berlinetta
I got new tyres on my B today - balanced, tracked, etc - but there is still a slight wobble and 'play' in the steering. I reckon the steering rack needs to be overhauled. I've already fitted new track rod ends and tie bars. Whats needed for a steering overhaul? andyc
If you have already done the track rod ends and the tie rods (Drum Sticks) there isn't much left to do, best idea and save a lot of mucking around to be to obtain either a new or good used rack. Other things to check if you haven't already do so are the top and bottom ball joints and the top and bottom arm fittings and bushes plus the joints on the lower section of the coloum Cheers Andy
lamchop77
Check the knuckle joint joint first, mine had slight play in it. Chris
